Thank you for your interest in a grant from the Hunt Family Foundation. We require all applicants to be members of Guidestar since the Foundation utilizes this service for verification of all compliance documents.  If an applicant is not a member of Guidestar, the grant request will probably be declined.

Guidelines for Grant Requests

Primary geographic area of interest is El Paso, Texas; Southern New Mexico; and Juarez.

The Hunt Family Foundation will consider requests from other regions of Texas, if they have statewide impact.

Primary Grant Target Areas:

• Regional Economic Development in the Paso Del Norte Region (El Paso, Texas; Southern New Mexico; and Juarez)
• Healthcare
• The Arts
• Education
• Local Heritage
• Quality-of-life Initiatives

Effective immediately, we have implemented new grant applications deadlines:

New Applicants:  Application for grant requests should be submitted by April 15 of each year.  The Hunt Family Foundation will make a decision by September 15 and if approved, funding will follow shortly thereafter.

Existing Charity:  Requests for funding may be submitted throughout the year. (Note: a charity will be considered and "Existing Charity" if the Hunt Family Foundation has made a grant to them in the past two years.)
