"We believe in El Paso and the Borderplex region, and know there is tremendous potential. This underscores why our charitable giving will remain focused here, the place we call home."
- Woody L. Hunt
Established in 1987, the Woody and Gayle Hunt Family Foundation supports organizations and initiatives that create a globally competitive Borderplex region, an area encompassing El Paso County, Texas, Southern New Mexico, and Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, México. The Foundation also supports organizations whose programs elevate the unique assets and opportunities of our binational, bicultural community, and situate our strengths in conversations about the future of our state and nation.
Since the Foundation's establishment by Woody L. Hunt and his wife Gayle, and now led by their son, Josh Hunt, the Foundation has supported over 600 organizations with 2,671 grants and commitments totaling $111 million as of December 2019.
